Logistics Supervisor

Responsible for the supervision of personnel and operations in the execution of fruit receiving, shipping, packaging and distribution functions at the DSA or Contract facility. Provides the leadership necessary to lead and develop a staff and strengthen employee relationships, creates strong morale and empowers others, exhibits the company values, and is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.

REQUIREMENTS
College degree in Business, Engineering, or Agriculture or related experience. Proven supervisory management experience. Aptitude to conduct interpersonal interactions, exchange information, persuade, problem solve, counsel, and train employees, review job performance, and make suggestions for improvement, and work effectively under pressure. Basic computer skills in the use of Windows, and OFfice 2000. Knowledge of post-harvest handling of fresh fruits encouraged. Demonstrative verbal and written communications and basic math skills. Must be flexible with work schedule, able to work overtime and weekends, travel (30%), and possess a valid drivers license. Certified forklift driver and bilingual (Spanish). Ability to lift 30 pounds.
