System Support Specialist

This position provides specialized technical expertise in the area of all software applications utilized by the billing system and it’s connectivity to and interfaces with all other communication devices; to be responsible for all computer related processing; and to provide technical support to all levels of users, both management and non-management.
REQUIREMENTS
(Basis Requirements)High school diploma or equivalent; Minimum of one year experience in computer operations, preferably an AS400 mainframe; working knowledge of various
operating systems.

(Minimum Requirements)Skills include general keyboard knowledge, good
working knowledge of computers, both hardware components and software applications
management, ten-key calculator and telephone. Experience with mid-range computers highly desirable. Ability to handle multiple problems and projects. High level of self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to accommodate flexible and unusual working hours and ability to respond quickly to emergency situations and changing priorities. This position requires a high degree of accuracy, discretion and integrity.
