Key responsibilities include:


Serving as our internal UDB DB2 expert in a Unix environment


Providing a wide scope of operational support, including database updates, performance monitoring and tuning


Collaborating with colleagues on various development and design initiatives


Assisting with the physical/hardware changes to the database


Working an on-call rotating schedule with team of five


Supporting script coding and testing in an AIX shell environment

Job Requirements:

Solid experience with UDB and AIX are required, as is a background coding and testing in KornShell. Healthcare experience is preferred. Familiarity with network protocol (TCP/IP) and Mainframe DB2 would be very helpful in this role. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
