Senior Design Engineer

Ridgetop Group, Inc. is a privately owned Tucson-based firm focused on leading edge research and technology.For this position, the individual will be a wide-ranging electronic engineering technical resource in providing in-depth knowledge to Ridgetop’s Technical Staff and work closely with its Engineering Management in developing new commercial products to help meet Ridgetop’s Corporate Growth Objectives.This electronic engineering background should include design experience at the IC or board level, a knowledge of modeling and failure effects.
This unique position provides an innovative engineer to be given wide-ranging responsibilities to excel and to be rewarded in an open small company environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Background Required
•Sucessful electronic design experience, preferably in mixed analog/digital circuitry.•Familiarity with different semiconductor technologies and failure effects at the device physics level.(CMOS required)•Ability to be a key contributor in a team environment is essential. Must communicate clearly with co-workers, customers in the commercial and government sector. Thoroughly document designs in written form.• Ability to travel and work in USA, Europe and in Asia on assigned projects.
•Ability to “multi-task” in an high growth company environment.•Ability to visualize the “big picture” and importance of leveraging technology development to reach agreed-upon business goals.•MSEE or equivalent. PhD desirable.
