Sartori Foods, a privately held cheese manufacturing company providing specialty cheeses, flavors and related products to the food service and ingredient marketplaces for over 65 years is seeking a motivated team player to join our 1st shift Quality Assurance /Technical Support Dept in the role of Technology Support Specialist. Responsibilities would include but not be limited to; implementing technological solutions for the chemical and physical testing and certification of food products, calibrations of sensitive testing instruments, conducting studies in conjunction with new product developments, analyzing food product and environmental samples, writing scientific reports, and managing the Chemical Hygiene Plan. Qualified candidates must be team-oriented, multi skilled, computer literate, self-motivated, and safety conscious. The successful candidate will have a B.S. in Food Science, Chemistry or related field, with knowledge of standard quality assurance methods. In addition candidates should have strong communication and people skills and be able to evaluate and document program compliance. Experience in a food manufacturing environment would be a plus.
