Java J2EE Object Oriented Developer, RDBMS, sockets, servlets

Market Leading Trading Systems Product Development comapny has an immediate need in their R&D Department for a Lead Developer.



As a member of the Application Software Development group, this individual will develop, design and implement applications using JAVA and WEB based technologies. This person is expected to lead a small development team on the project with design, implementation and unit testing. The Technical Lead will be expected to interact with multiple development groups and cross functional departments during the course of the project. The technical lead will be responsible for providing guidance to other members of the team. In addition, he/she will be responsible for estimating, creating and meeting the timeline for development of releases. The technical lead is expected to posses good insight into design patterns and designing applications using OOPS and Service Oriented Architectures.



TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate must have a BS degree in Computer Science and 6+ years experience with developing software using JAVA and Object Oriented Principles. The person must have in-depth knowledge in the following areas of JAVA:



Servlets, STRUTS, J2EE, Multi-threading, Swing, AWT and Hibernate. The person must have excellent software development process. The desired candidate will possess prior a minimum of 4+ years of experience developing JAVA applications on the Windows Platform. Financial Industry and Telephony is a plus. Prior work experience in Financial or Telephony industry and integrating applications with LDAP and Active Directory is deemed desirable.
