Established in 1995, LoveSac manufactures and sells alternative furniture and innovative home furnishings that epitomize “oversized living”. LoveSac products are exclusively available through company-owned and franchise stores located in premium malls across the U.S., the LoveSac web site, and through a few select wholesale customers. LoveSac Founder Shawn Nelson was the winning contestant on Fox’s 2004 reality series “Rebel Billionaire: Branson’s Quest for the Best”. LoveSac is developing its core of hands-on experts at its new home base in Southern Connecticut to cultivate its brand and pursue strategic new growth opportunities.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
LoveSac seeks an experienced, self-motivated graphic designer / print production specialist. The successful candidate will be detail oriented with excellent design sensibilities as well as conceptual and strategic abilities. This individual will act as our “in-house” Graphic Designer and Project Manager responsible for a number of ongoing and newly created projects. Additional responsibility will also include coordinating timely, high-quality, cost-effective production of all marketing and promotional collateral. In addition you will be asked to assist with instructional/diagram artwork to communicate with overseas vendors and manage some detail-aspects of product development (furniture, pillows, home accessories, clothing).
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
Creative……. Collaborate with Company Founder to produce marketing materials that imparts the company’s brand identity
• Propose design concepts and layouts, create mock-ups and presentations
• Revise and proof all design work for accuracy and quality control

Ensure that projects are practical, executable and within company’s budget requirements Production……. Manage straight-through processing of marketing projects from procurement of print through receiving and fulfillment.
• Establish and drive production schedules and press time with vendors • Check projects for adherence to department standards for quality
• Troubleshoot and rectify printing problems and issues.

Technical Knowledge & Past Experience…….Demonstrated and/or working knowledge
• Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel • Print Production, Processes and Technologies • Design Layout, Color Theory, Fonts, Photography and Artwork • Web Design (understanding)

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor Degree preferred – portfolio required for interview
• 5-7 years experience in collateral, design and print production
• Meticulous attention to detail & accuracy, task oriented, perfectionist
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in an environment of competing priorities and deadlines • Excellent communication skills (writing, spelling, verbal, visual)
• Hands-on self-starter with ability to balance strategy with day-to-day responsibilities
• Open to rapid change and growth with a small high profile company
