Civil Engineering

We are seeking Civil Engineers for our local and national clients involved in Land Development / Planning, Transportation, Water/Wastewater, Stormwater Management Environmental and Geotechnical projects, in the Phoenix-Metropolitan area.
Positions Available:Laboratory Manager - for a Geotechnical & Environmental Engineering Firm. Some of the duties required are: establish departmental operating policies, procedures and work standards; serve as liaison with project managers, government agencies, etc.; perform all of the sampling & testing procedures in the lab; coordinate QA/QC committee to maintain AASHTO and ADOT accreditation; and assists in the preparation of the department budget. Requires: 5 years construction materials testing experience; 3 years supervisory experience in a materials testing environment; ACI certification in strength or field; ATTI certification in Soils/Aggregate and/or Asphalt; knowledge of modern engineering methods and techniques (relative to engineering specifications for construction materials sampling & testing), knowledge of engineering theory, principles, and practices, relative to materials testing, and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) & gINT; and, Bachelor's Degree (preferably with coursework in chemical, civil, or materials engineering or construction management).Laboratory Supervisor - for a Geotechnical & Environmental Engineering Firm. Requires: 5 years of construction materials testing experience; two years supervisory experience in a materials testing environment; ACI Certification in Strength or Field; ATTI Certification in Soils/Aggregate Asphalt or ability to obtain; BS preferred; and knowledge of modern engineering methods and techniques (relative to engineering specifications for construction materials sampling and testing); knowledge of engineering theory, principles, practices, algebra & geometry; knowledge of construction materials standards and approved testing methodologies as established by ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, and ADOT; knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), gINT; and must be able to perform all of the sampling and testing procedures performed in the lab. Some of the duties are: establish work standards; directs and coordinates a staff of laboratory technicians; serve as liaison with laboratory managers and senior technicians; and assists QA/QC committee to maintain AASHTO and ADOT accreditation.

Designers & Drafters- Career positions available for residential, commercial, water resources department, water/wastewater, transportation, construction drawings(paving, grading, water/sewer plans), land development projects, and roadway and traffic engineering design plans. Requirements: 1-5 years experience, AutoCAD for all projects & Microstation preferred for land development & water/wastewater projects. Ideal candidates will be well organized, detail oriented, self-starters & have the ability to work independently &/or in groups.Assistant Project Manager-Land Development - Must have engineering or planning experience to assist with and supervise various engineering, architectural, and environmental consultants in the planning and entitlement process; Coordinate governmental review; Administer Community Facilities District or Assessment District including - feasibility analysis, formation, issuance of bonds, and reimbursement from bond proceeds; and Participate in land acquisition due diligence to include - coordination and analysis of feasibility studies, preparation of feasibility budget, and schedule, etc. Recent graduate or technical degree needed. Also, 5 - 8 years experience with leadership & management skills for Asst. PM to assist with planning, designing CD's & final plats for residential land development projects.Civil Engineer/Designer - Position available with residential/commercial land development and roadway experience and CAD & LDD.Project Planner and Sr. Planner - Responsible for planning and professional involvement as key person in complex planning projects. Sr. Planner requires Bachelor's degree in planning or related field plus 3-4 years applicable experience, or Master's degree plus 2 years' experience - knowledge of planning policies/practices/alternatives and legal/environmental factors required. AICP preferred.Project Manager - Land Development with client management, project control, leadership roll over department engineers & techs doing planning, entitlements, grading, drainage, storm H2O, roadway utility design, etc. Must be able to assist in business development.Project Managers & Sr. PM's - Seeking professionals for water/wastewater, water resources, stormwater management, commercial, residential & mixed use land development and planning projects and Transportation / Public Works. Range of experience 2-15 years. Bachelors Degree required. Perfect match will be computer literate and posses the ability to coordinate, plan & design, as well as lead and mentor others. Some positions require EIT/PE.Currently looking for - Project Surveyor, Survey Office Tech, Civil Survey CAD Tech and Survey Analyst. Must have 2-5 years experience, in addition to working knowledge of AutoCAD. Other skills include topographics, ALTA’s, TechMac, & Microstation. Survey positions require LSIT and may require PLS obtainable within 6 months. Survey Analyst requires 4 years survey experience, AutoCAD & ADOT right-of-way experience with Softdesk, TDS, TGO &/or InRoads a plus.Project Designer/Engineer – for well-known Engineering, Planning, Surveying, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture Firm to engineer, direct and coordinate the design and plan preparation for engineering projects. Direct teams of designers and drafters who assist in specific project assignments, while under the direction of a Project Manager. Assist Group Manager in personnel supervision and evaluations. Bachelor’s Degree in related field of engineering. 2 years (min) as Senior Designer or 4 years (min) responsible related design experience. EIT preferred.Project Engineers & Sr. Project Engineers – Positions available for large-scale commercial and residential projects, Water Resources projects and Water Wastewater projects. Also, Land Development and Roadway. Position also in Tucson.Stormwater Management Department Manager - Responsibilities include leading and mentoring engineers and designers on hydrology and hydraulic studies and analysis, write proposals, scope projects, create/maintain budgets, attend interviews, perform flood-plain determinations, and prepare drainage reports, improvement plans and municipal storm water management plans. The position requires 15+ years managing stormwater design projects, experience in client and staff development, and proficiency utilizing HEC-1, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and HEC-6.Civil Traffic Engineer/EIT/Designer - with ACAD, Synchro & Traffix. Responsible for all elements of traffic impact assessment, signal design, signage, striping, preparing traffic control plans.

Survey Analyst - for a progressive engineering, planning and construction management firm with a minimum of 4 years of survey experience, proficient skills using AutoCAD, and ADOT right-of-way experience. Skills using Softdesk, TDS, TGO and/or InRoads are a plus. The position involves the preparation of base maps from research and field notes using Microstation, addressing redline comments from ADOT reviewers, and compiling reports and calculations.Transportation Group Manager – for National engineering and energy management firm. Civil PE, Arizona, with 20 yrs transportation experience - municipal highway/roadway, preferably with connections in the Phoenix-metro area & ADOT a plus. Must have strong management and supervisory skills, and business development experience.Designers, Drafters, Projet Engineer & Civil Engineer/PM - for Phoenix-based Civil Engineering firm for master planned community team in Tucson.Water/Wastewater Engineer – Excellent opportunity with large, Phoenix-based consulting civil engineering firm with a track record of exciting water/wastewater projects (large diameter extensions, studies, reservoirs, pump stations) for local agencies and master planned communities. Requirements: 10+ years of progressive experience in design and project responsibility and P.E. with Masters preferred.
Civil Designer Manager for Commercial Site and Land Dev. projects. Design Grading, Drainage & retention plans, calculate earthwork quantities, oversee Jr Designers and CAD production staff.
