Store Manager / Retail Manager

Cosmoprof is part if the Beauty Systems Group, the largest full-service distributor of beauty products in the world.

We are currently seeking a Store Manager for our Mesa store.

Primary functions & efforts required:

Inventory-ordering, merchandising, overstocking
Accurately count, calculate goods sold (over 2-week period), calculate stock needed, monitor new item sales
Receive stock, unload, distribute to proper location. Verify shipment with packing slip, check charges against actual receipt of stock schedule
Defective returns: segregate stock by manufacturer, list product codes, send paperwork to Corporate Office for approval. Overstock returns included
Recruit new hires, conduct on-going training, set forth company policy and procedure, terminate employees, maintain personnel files, complete performance reviews, time cards, report sick/vacation leave for staff
Customer assistance: answer phone inquiries for equipment sales, bookkeeping, questions, education, warranty information, service, handle customers’ complaints
Lead physical inventory (generally 3 times/yr). Accurately count all stock and equipment in store
Balance cash drawers and maintain proper balance of coin and paper monies
Authorize bills for payment
Prepare branch credits for merchandise charged, not received
Promote special events through ticket sales, in-store education classes, provide necessary working stock for manufacturer reps
Secure premises at closing
REQUIREMENTS
Technical skills:
Cosmetology license preferred, but not necessary
Management experience pref
Merchandizing knowledge
Personnel management development
Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills

Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
Strong communication, organization & people skills
PC skills helpful
