Sales Support Professional

A forward thinking safety distributor is seeking a sales support professional with a strong background in customer service and communication. This individual will be the liaison for the outside sales staff and the current customer base. Majority of this position as it relates to inside sales is receiving calls in with any outbound calls being warm leads.
Responsibilities:Handling calls from customers and outside sales staffOrder entry in the system; researching products and providing quotes for customersCreating productivity reports in Excel for measuring and analyzing dataJob Description:
Inspects materials and product for conformance to specifications using fixed or preset measuring instruments. Scope of inspection duties include; manufacturing orders, raw material, work in process, finished goods and customer returns. Ensures all inspected material and product is in accordance with established tolerance levels for quality, performance, and accuracy. Controls and maintains all QA records and calibration instruments. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures, work instructions, and standards. Responsible for issuing internal and external corrective actions, and plays an integral role with continuous improvement initiatives. Works under general supervision; Reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Requirements:

Required Skills:Microsoft Office Suite, Intermediate level experienceAbility to type 45 WPMExperience with problem solving and upselling or cross selling within a fast paced environment.
Ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background with experience supporting different levels of sales staff. May also possess supervisory skills and a proven track record to identify areas for process improvement.
