McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants, Inc. is a leading national seafood restaurant operator in the affordable upscale dining segment. Over the past 32 years, we have successfully grown our business by focusing on serving a broad selection of fresh seafood. Currently, McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants, Inc. is currently looking for an experienced Host / Hostess to join its award-winning team for evening shifts. This role will be expected to:
Present a professional appearance, be enthusiastic and outgoing, and demonstrate a hospitable personality.
Control the flow of guests into the dinning room to insure a smooth shift.
Coordinate the reservation book, keeping management informed on bookings.
Assist in preparing the restaurant for service and maintaining the cleanliness of the room at all times.
Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout entire shift.
Follow all health code food and beverage requirements.
Must possess good communication skills and professional demeanor.
Must be organized and have the ability to multi-task.
REQUIREMENTS
Host / Hostess Requirements
Some experience preferred.
Ability to work in a high-volume operation.
Ability to walk, stand and/or bend continuously to perform essential job functions.
Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
