HR Service Center Representative

Principal Accountabilities and Essential Duties of the Job:
1.Answers routine or first level employee and leader inquiries relating to HR and employment policies, practices, procedures, and programs.
2.Supports HR leaders in handling routine or first level inquires relating to benefits, HRIS, and HR metrics and reporting.
3.Reviews new hire paperwork and status changes for completeness. Processes new hires and status changes into HRIS. Maintains employees’ data through HRIS.
4. Adheres to established processes, procedures, and systems
5. Maintains confidentiality of department and employee information according to established practice
6. Provides superior customer service to all employees and candidates by promptly responding to inquires
7. Builds and maintains relationship with employees and applicants
8. Achieves performance measures and adheres to established customer service standards
9. Escalates non-routine matters to appropriate subject matter experts
10. Collaborates with other customer service representatives and HR leaders to resolve employee issues and to implement process and procedural improvements.
11. Uses surveys, tools, follow-up calls and other mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of service
12. Performs administrative activities, such as data entry, and runs reports as required.
13. Interprets standard, administrative procedures and practices
14. Prioritizes multiple conflicting tasks
15. Performs multiple customer service task simultaneously
16. Types correspondence and runs reports.
17. Completes and processes HR related forms
18. Maintains records and files
19. Interfaces with vendors as required
20. Performs special projects as requiredJob RequirementsBachelor's Preferred; High School Diploma or GED requried.
1.Previous experience in a Human Resource setting preferred.
2.Experience with HRIS database system.
3.Critical thinking, problem solving and judgment skills.
4.Excellent interpersonal skills needed with the ability to communicate well in a diverse work environment.
5.Microsoft Word, Windows or related software. Excel and PowerPoint experience preferred. .
7.Individual should have high energy with the ability to organize/prioritize workload.
8.Ability to support multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
9.Flexibility and ability to travel to various sites as needed.
