Event Planner

WorldatWork is seeking a mid-level event planner to join a team of industry professionals. Qualified candidate should be familiar with aspects of the meeting planning process to assist the organization in reaching its strategic goals with events from 15-2,000 people. Candidate needs to take initiative, demonstrate creativity, think strategically and be able to work in both a team environment and independently while completing tasks on time. Potential individual should have 2-3 years meeting planning experience and be eager to learn business related competencies. Exposition management experience is a plus.


The ideal candidate will have a four-year college degree; actively pursuing CMP designation; strong computer skills (Word, Excel and Powerpoint). Candidate should also possess strong organizational and planning abilities; excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and superior oral and written communication skills.
