DIRECT CARE ATTENDANT/CNA/CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT

Responsible for assisting residential clients with daily living and routine activities. Responsible to monitor clients' behavioural and physical conditions and report any changes to the nursing staff. Will be expected to participate in the execution of treatment plans and assigned activities.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Current AL driver's license with a good driving record, as defined by the employer's insurance carrier. Must be able to lift up to fifty lbs. and be able to walk up and down several flights of stairs during a shift. Clear criminal record. Negative drug screen. Must be able to complete and maintain annual certification requirements for CPR, First Aid, non violent crisis intervention. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent ability to work effectively in a group situation.
