Commercial Insurance Assistant

Brown & Brown Insurance, a publicly-traded (NYSE:BRO), national independent insurance broker, is looking for a high achiever for our Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona locations. Brown & Brown is a leader in the insurance industry (ranked in the top 10 in the nation and 6th in the State of Arizona) and is looking for the right person to join our Commercial Lines Service Team.

We have an excellent opportunity as an Insurance Assistant in our Commercial Department. Although insurance agency experience is preferred, we will train. Entry-level and mid- to senior-level candidates are welcome to apply. This is a great position in which to fast track into a successful future in the insurance industry!

Compensation will depend on experience and capabilities.

REQUIREMENTS
Competencies:
- must have or be willing to obtain a Property & Casualty Insurance License
- strong eye for detail and multi-tasking skills
- team player attitude with excellent oral and written communication skills
- professional phone manner
- excellent organizational skills
- friendly, professional and courteous manner
- knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and personal computers in general
- experience using Applied Management Systems would be very helpful
