The Everett Call Center is seeking High Speed Internet representatives for our 24x7 Repair Dept.Representatives handle a large volume of incoming phone calls, covering a full range of customer service in a prompt and professional manner.Under training and work direction, the representatives provide prompt resolution to customers' phone inquiries regarding our High Speed Internet product, troubleshooting and customer support.Exceed or maintain minimum phone adherence and department standards.Demonstrate courtesy, patience and troubleshooting skills in customer relations.Represent Comcast in a professional and positive manner in all situations.Perform other related duties as assigned.May be cross trained to support cable TV or other calls.Ability to work evenings and weekends required, with punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.Paid training for external applicants to start 11/06/06.Qualifications
Required:High school diploma or GEDMinimum of 1 year customer service work experience.Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.Demonstrated problem solving and time management skills.Knowledge of Internet functions, browsers, personal computers and related software.Ability to work overtime.Preferred:BILINGUAL Spanish/EnglishOne to two years of technical experience with computer repair and Internet connectivity and functions.
