XHTML / CSS Coder Position Duties Include:Solid Standards Compliant XHTML (transitional 1.0) and CSS skills. - Cut up and creation of tableless web page templates using supplied designs. - Ability to work with both tabled and tableless designs - Maintenance and content population for existing sites - No Wysiwyg editingAwareness of usability and disability compliance issuesStrong testing matrix and attention to detail - Ability to QA own and others' work for code validity, spelling, layout consistency of look - Testing existing and developing sites against a variety of browsers, versions and platforms - Testing static content as well as content management tools prior to launch per a pre-prescribed checklist - Regular testing and regression testing of tools developed by the programming department Full Benefits for all Full-Time Hires100% paid coverage for

REQUIREMENTS
XHTML / CSS Coder RequirementsAbility to work as part of a team - Attend regularly scheduled meetings - Coordinate workload with other staff members and other departments - Able to meet tight deadlines with little supervision Skills/ Requirements Education: A college degree or equivalent work experience XHTML / CSS Coder Experience and BackgroundProficiency in CSS, XHTML, Javascript and general coding concepts.Must be familiar with ColdFusion Studio/Homesite or Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Firefox, IE, Netscape, Opera and Safari and backward compatibility.Knowledge of various site testing tools and software testing background a plus.Examples of current coding important, preferably sites coded only by applicant.
