Therapeutic Programs Consultant

Beverly Living is seeking a Therapeutic Programs Consultant for our skilled nursing facilities located in California and other Mid West States.


In this position you will advance the practice of quality of life services in order to improve care and services throughout the region. Provide direction, oversight and development of the Recreation and Social Service. Collaborate with facility, district and divisional team to coordinate improvement efforts for therapeutic program services. Train, educate and monitor facility staff to maintain regulatory compliance and improve performance. Project management for various program and initiatives in the region as assigned. Works collaboratively with the VP Clinical Services, Senior and Divsional Director of Quality of Life in maintaining compliance and high standards of therapeutic programming. Candidates must possess masters degree in recreation, social work or related health degree and have 3 years experience in a long term care environment, one of which must be directly related to therapeutic programs. Must have core knowledge and skills of consultation techniques, quality professional standarss, regulatory standards, adult learning, personal mastery, continuous quality improvement tools and processes, customer service and computer literacy.
