The ideal candidate is an energetic and enthusiastic professional, with the following qualifications:
Excellent communication and sales skills
Strong initiative and motivation to succeed
BS in engineering, business or related fields
Demonstrated success in promoting technical products
Experience in water/wastewater/stormwater market preferred
The core duties and responsibilities for this position include:
Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan for assigned territory.
Prospect new projects, customer contacts, and referrals.
Set up projects and coordinate the handoff to engineering staff.
Set up and present technical presentations and attend trade shows.
Develop strong relationships with the engineering and regulatory communities.
Provide follow up on a timely basis of all projects and customer contacts.
