Sr. Principle Product Marketing Specialist- Security Software

Global leader in information security providing a broad range of software, appliances and services designed to help individuals, small and mid-sized businesses, and large enterprises secure and manage their IT infrastructure is looking to fill their Sr. Principle Product Marketing Specialist position in Cupertino, CA.

Drives entire portion of tactical marketing program/initiative.
Guide the vision of Clients worldwide corporate integrated product offering in the Internet Security market.
-Define product strategy and product objectives for organizations.
-Present plans to senior management and ensure strong launch and future positioning for the product.
-Maintain two-year forecasts and business plans
-Define feedback loops for product input and drive/conduct customer research.
-Coordinate with regional marketing on product launches, including the direct ownership of product naming, key messages, product positioning, timing, marketing strategy, base pricing and joint marketing opportunities.
-Responsible for collecting customer and prospect problems that will translate into product features and requirements, and communicating the product roadmap with customers and Symantec employees.
-Work with other core team members to ensure product success.
REQUIREMENTS
8-10 years -- experience in product marketing or product management, software, and technical management focused on large and/or global customers.

Must be able to determine and communicate a strategy and a vision, evangelize an idea or cause, multi-task and drive to completion a diverse number of issues.

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong business/financial skills and hands-on customer experience. Proven experience on driving large initiatives to corporate customers. Demonstrated business judgment, leadership, and creative problem solving. Technical understanding of computer software. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
