Sr Network Engineer

INFORMATION ON THE POSITION

•Develop and foster a trustful partnership between Calence and our clients, typically in an outsourcing or selective sourcing capacity
•Provide project management, network design, engineering and support services to Managed Services clients with large and/or complex networks

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

•Network management and network engineering activities for one or more clients with large and/or complex networks
•Successfully lead client relationships & expand the understanding of our clients business and business processes
•Provide quality assurance for multiple project teams concurrently
•Supply escalation level support for clients
•Offer business level technical recommendations to clients
•Manage engineering maintenance and project activities for client networks
•Participate in the development of internal engineering policies and standards
•Lead research into related to network management technologies
•Performance Analysis and Engineering
•Network Design
•Recommend development and maintenance activities
REQUIREMENTS
INFORMATION ON QUALIFICATIONS

•3-5 years network design and administration experience in WAN, LAN, Security and Network Management
•Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) or equivalent experience required; CISSP or CCSP a plus

EDUCATION

•A bachelor’s degree or demonstrated performance in a technical and business work environment is required.
•Skills and/or certifications which clearly indicate knowledge of complex technical concepts are required.
•Solid understanding of routing, switching, and security technologies is required.
