SENIOR ADVISOR-HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT(Assurance & Reporting)


Kennecott Utah Copper Corporation, a world-class mining & mineral processing company, in Salt Lake City, Utah is searching for a Senior Advisor-HSE (Assurance & Reporting). The successful candidate will be a key member of the Health, Safety, Environment & Sustainable Development Team & will be accountable for coordination of HSE reporting tasks, & planning & overseeing the HSE auditing program. You will work closely with Kennecott senior leadership, plant management & operations, Rio Tinto corporate, & local, state, & federal agencies.


Qualifications include 3+ yrs exp in communications, HSE management, engineering, or regulation in government agencies, & a B.S. in Health, Safety and/or Environmental Management, Engineering, Science, Communications or related. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, & technical skills, & possess the ability to effectively influence & manage sustainable change efforts. Demonstrated career interest in HSE assurance and compliance will be highly regarded.
