JOB SUMMARY Under functional guidance, the consultant will assist external small to mid size financial institutions mitigate compliance risks by assessing controls within lines of business and making recommendations for improvement. Executing these activities will require taking responsibility for assessing and documenting various controls, developing policies/procedures, identifying audit issues and presenting findings to senior management. This position will also be responsible for growing new business opportunities, working with existing clients and play a major role in project delivery. This will require a solid knowledge of the marketplace including Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering compliance regulations, experience with internal and external examinations, vendor solutions and competition.KEY RESULT AREAS Ability to provide regulatory guidance to external financial institutions (60%) Report preparation, analysis and presentation (20%) Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities (10%) Training preparation and presentation (5%) Confidentiality (5%) Customer Service Trend analysisJOB SPECIFICATIONSMinimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business, law, or finance or a related field or equivalent.Preferred Education: Post Bachelor Degree in business law, finance or a related field or equivalent. ACAMS certification benefitial. Minimum Experience: 7-12 years of general banking, compliance, audit or external consulting related experience.Preferred Experience: +12 years of banking, compliance, BSA, AML, Audit or external consulting related experience. ACAMS (Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists) Certification and experience in sales is also a plus.We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
