Recruiting and Human Resources Manager
Located in heart of Hollywood, we’re an established and profitable internet and telephone based company with content driven websites providing New Age entertainment and services.
We’re a company in growth mode and we’re looking for the right person to manage critical day to day recruiting efforts for the company. In this position you’d report to the Director of Human Resources and work closely with our HR & Recruiting Specialist.

We have multiple departments including; Customer Service, Technology, Marketing, Finance and Human Resources so we perform heavy recruiting for all levels of employees – hourly, professional and executive level staff members. Because we have multiple departments our recruiting efforts will span various job functions. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable interacting with senior management, department heads and hiring managers to gain an understanding of job function, requirements, etc. We’re looking for someone who can provide a professional and polished face for the company when recruiting higher level positions.
In addition to carrying out and managing recruiting efforts, the person in this position will be responsible for ad hoc Human Resources projects related to benefits, labor law, facilities, market research, company events, employee retention, etc.
Responsibilities:
1.Recruit and hire qualified, quality candidates from internal and external sources, in a timely manner to support all departments’ recruiting and hiring needs.
2.Work with the Director of Human Resources to determine recruiting strategy and select venues for advertising (Internet, job fairs, school career days, newspaper, employment agencies and other referral sources).
3.Manage internal and external job posting programs including maintaining job descriptions and data on recruitment activities, job hotlines and Outlook Amusements website information.
4.Screen applicants, schedule and conduct interviews, evaluate applicants’ tests and overall qualifications, check references and backgrounds on applicants. Partner with Hiring Managers to determine best matches for the position.
5.Keep Director of HR informed of recruiting efforts and progress.
6.Research selected topics for Director of HR using HR publications, Internet and other research tools.
7.Assist Director of HR with special projects, as required.
8.Provide reporting support.
9.Conduct new hire orientations including handbook and safety training.
10.Recommend, develop and implement policies and procedures regarding employment related legal compliance with all Federal, State and Local agencies.
11.Clearly communicate HR related information to staff members.
12.Actively monitor leaves of absence and return to work processes, completing processing requirements in accordance with procedures and deadlines.
13.Ensure proper administration and dissemination of benefits information including health, dental, 401K, workers compensation and leaves of absences.
14.Conduct exit interviews and make recommendations to change policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS
Three Keys:
1.2-4 years prior experience recruiting in an agency environment.
2.2 years experience recruiting at multiple levels – hourly to executive levels.
3.2 years experience working in a Human Resource Department with exposure to benefits management and labor law.
Required:
1.Bachelors degree
2.Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products including Word, Excel and Access
3.Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
4.Working knowledge of Federal and State employment regulations, specifically California state regulations
5.Ability to effectively interface with all levels of staff in a professional manner.
6.Demonstrated ability to function independently, multi-task and realign priorities as needed
7.General knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
8.Must be able to maintain confidentiality
