Essential Functions:
Analyze and prioritize job requisitions as forwarded by Account Manager.
Market Allied as an employer-of-choice through a variety of contact sources.
Visit client sites to more accurately assess staffing needs, job requirements and to perform retention activities.
Determine suitability of applicants based on the application and personal interviews.
Refer applicants to Account Managers for second interviews as required.
Perform appropriate background checks/tests on acceptable candidates to include:
employment
education
drug
medical
psychological
criminal
motor vehicle
social security
Complete related clerical aspects of the application, licensing (where applicable), and hiring process in compliance with Allied procedures.
Coordinate training date, uniform requirements and reporting instructions with Account Managers, as assigned or as required.
Keep records and prepare accurate and timely reports both manually and through automated methods.
Meet weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly objectives as set by District Manager or Division Director of HR.
Effectively utilize, but do not exceed, the set budget for advertising, job fairs and referral bonuses.
Keep the non-billable overtime percentage for the assigned area or district at, or below the acceptable level as set by the VP/GM.
Maintain technical proficiency in assigned area by reviewing policies and procedures and applying those processes to all assigned district office activities.
Work with all levels in the organization to identify, analyze and solve problems and create opportunities for continuous improvement.
Assist with operations, training and administrative functions on an as needed basis.
Maintain confidentiality of all information and data.
Check e-mail and Bulletin Board frequently, on a daily basis.
Maintain regular attendance to ensure avoidance of unpredictable, frequent and/or ongoing late arrivals and chronic
tardiness.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
1.Position requires an extremely perceptive and outgoing person, who is capable of professionally relating to individuals at all levels and from all backgrounds.
2.Ability to assist in operations, training, administration or human resources on an as needed basis.
3.Candidate must have at least two years proven staffing, or related experience.
4.Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, etc.; the capability to use and/or learn to use a computer and peripheral equipment required.
5.Excellent oral communication skills.
6.Ability to work in a team oriented environment and to help identify and solve problems.
7.Ability to get along with other employees, follow directions, works under stress and continuously improves.
8.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates supervisors and the general public.
9.Ability to deal with internal and external customers and to ensure compliance with fair employment practices and perform
multiple tasks simultaneously in a timely, courteous and professional manner.
10.Ability to work a flexible schedule and to work evenings, weekends and holidays as requested or required.
11.Reliable, appropriate transportation to do field work and regional travel.
12.Ability to lift items of reasonable weight like those associated with packing and shipping.
