Program Manager

The Software Giant in Redmond, Washington is seeking a Partner Services Manager for an online hosted services program for universities. To a large degree, the Services Manager will act as the face and voice of this online hosted services program to all of their university partners. The Services Manager will be responsible for:
Helping schools to choose the online hosted services program by answering their frequently asked questions (and sometimes not so frequently asked ones as well).
Monitoring support processes to ensure that schools receive timely responses and resolution for their support issues.
Managing program contract execution.
Maintaining the program funnel and CRM database.
Owning, updating and delivering program implementation training both internally to the Software Giant's audiences and externally to university and consultant audiences.
Providing program scope and implementation overviews to select universities.
Owning and driving special projects as needed (i.e. CRM deployment, platform migration, audit process development)

This is a really fun program to work on and team to work with. The person who will enjoy this role will be committed to satisfying and where possible, delighting our university partners; this person will be experienced with technical systems administration, will be unphased by partners when they're agitated and will be comfortable speaking with partners one-on-one or one-to-many. This program is like an established start up within the Software Giant, so whoever takes this role will need to be flexible, handle pressure well and be okay with lending a hand wherever needed.

Required Skills for this Program Manager position will include:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attentiveness to process and detail
Ability to multi-task, work independently and prioritize work items a must
Ability to work and coordinate with a variety of cross-functional teams - both internally and externally
Good understanding of and ability to grasp systems architecture and systems integration
Action/results orientation
Good troubleshooting skills and experience debugging issues
Basic understanding of XML/SOAP a plus, but not required
Previous Microsoft experience a plus
Patience and good humor
