Position Description:
The analyst and associate positions will be responsible for providing cross-functional business analysis support in a variety of customer-facing roles. Almost immediately after joining ICG Commerce, our analysts are assigned to streams of project-based work in the areas of strategic sourcing, category management and business development through opportunity assessments and building detailed, fact-based business cases. The ideal candidate is personable, diligent and analytic and not afraid of responsibility. Duties may include the following:

-Performing data collection.
-Developing total cost of ownership baselines for our customers’ external purchases.
-Performing supply market research.
-Creating and analyzing RFP’s (request for proposal).
-Assisting in the development of sourcing strategies.
-Assisting in the development and execution of supplier negotiation strategies.
-Utilizing eSourcing and auction technologies.
-Developing new sourcing tools/methods.
-Assisting category management teams in product development and ongoing pre-sales activities to expand the client base for ICG Commerce’s array of services.
-Performing numerous problem-solving functions to ensure client satisfaction with ICG Commerce’s services.



Compensation:
An attractive compensation plan, including base salary, bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits plan, including 401(k).

ICG Commerce is also seeking candidates for this position in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago and Cleveland Ohio.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
-The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, independent self-starter that thrives on challenge and delivering exceptional results. The ideal candidate must possess a desire to learn and deliver as a true team player.
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business or other quantitative discipline.
-2-4 years experience in a procurement, logistics, materials management or supply chain consulting environment with demonstrated track record of delivering results.
-Experience specific to strategic sourcing or e-procurement preferred but not required.
-Strong multi-phase project management skills.
-Excellent communication skills – written and verbal including formal presentation skills.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Strong multi-tasking skills.
-Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Visio.
-Adaptable communication ability to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers.

Travel:
Travel may be required for this position and will vary from a minimum of 10% up to potentially 40% depending on the location of the customer’s facilities and operating locations.
