Nurse Specialist Consultant - RN DON for Long-Term Care

This is an exciting executive-level full time career advancement opportunity for a strong, flexible and experienced Director of Nursing in Long-Term Care to work and travel between our facilities located throughout Arkansas, filling in for vacant leadership positions, and providing mentoring, training and guidance to the staff. Use your long-term care (SNF) nursing and organizational skills to successfully guide the nursing department to meet the needs of our residents. Will have the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for all functions, activities and training of Nursing Service department while acting as the Interim Director of Nursing Services. Also serves as a consultant to facilities regarding compliance issues.

REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:

Current RN license for Arkansas in good standing or ability to obtain reciprocity, 3-5 years Director of Nursing experience in Long Term Care and sub-acute services, knowledge of Federal and State regulations including OBRA, must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families, and be able to travel as needed.
