Mental Health Counselor I

Provide individual and group rehab services to emotionally disturbed adolescent boys in a non-public high school setting. Motivated, enthusiastic, and creative delivery of mental health services for day treatment program serving severely emotionally disturbed adolescents. Facilitate group activities, encourage relationships, and provide crisis intervention. Flexibility of role and ability to approach efforts as a team player are critical.
REQUIREMENTS
Bilingual Spanish required. Master’s degree with two (2) years SED experience, Bachelor’s degree with four (4) years SED experience, or Associate’s degree with six (6) years SED experience. Must have at least two (2) years mental health experience.
