Marketing Business Analyst

This position is responsible for a wide range of programs and measurements that cover the entire scope of operations in the marketing organization.

The marketing business analyst in this role is responsible for developing business critical measurements, implementing and improving tracking and reporting processes and providing analysis of key business trends. In addition, this role will be responsible for tracking key performance metrics that are used as, and for creating internal business goals and incentives. The ideal candidate will have experience building programs and queries and dashboards from scratch, ideally in a marketing, sales, or finance organization. This person will work with the Information Technology team to drive next generation reporting capabilities and work with IT, Marketing and Sales Operations to fully utilize the existing and future tools.

Key responsibilities:


- Provide detailed performance metrics to upper management- Develop high value analysis geared towards optimizing marketing and sales dollar and resource investments- Provide overview of high-level performance metrics to senior management- Develop business trends reports, tools and metrics- Produce management dashboards and presentations- Manage key business objectives and metrics driven compensation programs- Develop ROI reporting for internal programs- Develop requirements for improvements in tools and internal (back office systems)

REQUIREMENTS
Skills and Experience:

- Excellent Excel experience – creating and managing complex reports- Crystal reports, SQL, Oracle, Cognos and advanced analytics tools strongly preferred- Excellent written and verbal communicator- Data warehouse, data mining, and trending tools experience a plus- Ability to work within and lead cross functional teams- 3- 8 years experience
