Java Web Development Manager

Web Development Manager:
This is a hands-on technical position. Must have strong technical background and understanding of technical issues.
Provide strategic and technical direction for the client's mission-critical Internet applications.
Manage the development efforts of existing web-based application team of 6-8 developers.
Develop project schedules and manage staff efforts to meet scheduled commitments.Work closely with Business Analyst to gather requirements from department managers, assuring that the requirements can be done.Present proposed web-based solutions to departmental and corporate management.
Position reports to the Vice President of I/T.
Manages the work of Sr. Web Architect and Java Developers.
International business experience will be a plus
Professional dress and appearance required
Must be current US citizen or Permanent Resident - Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will not be considered
REQUIREMENTS
Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communications.
Provide analytical and technical/project mentoring to assigned staff.
Must have comprehensive understanding of Web development issues.
Possess technical knowledge and understanding of UNIX, DB2, Java, WCS, e-commerce and Windows
