PricewaterhouseCoopers has an outstanding opportunity for a motivated
professional to join our San Francisco Advisory Human Resources
Team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Advisory HR
Team, and involved in performance management and coaching, annual review and
compensation processes, resource deployment, and overall efforts around
building a positive work environment for the client group. The role also
involves monitoring of certain business operating results and HR strategy
implementation.Responsibility for the deployment and career development of our staff in
Performance Improvement business unit within the Advisory line of service.
This includes staffing appropriate client service staff and managers on
engagements, maintaining appropriate utilization and balance of the client
service personnel, making sure to provide the staff and managers with the
development opportunities to allow for their future growth within the Firm.
This position requires excellent communication skills and extraordinary client
service skills in all respects as they are expected to work closely with the
Partners and Senior Managers.Additional responsibilities (not limited to) include the following:Operations
Assist with year end budgets
Monthly Forecasting
Headcount Management
Deployment
Balance of schedules
Risk Management
Monitor Development needs
Monitor utilization and report on findings/trends
Communication of staffing decisions
Overall Career Development (making sure staff receive opportunities based on
their level, abilities and firm requirements)
Performance Management
Manages evaluation process
Review all evaluations/files
Counseling (appropriate counselors assigned and a counseling sessions are
held)
Determine where Training is required (make recommendations where required) &
take action
HR - Rewards Management
Recommends salary adjustments, bonuses (by applying firm guidelines)
Coordinate review
Manage overall process (letters, signatures, etc.)
Recruitment/Assimilation
Assist in interview process
Assimilation of all new/transferred employees (Managers)
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
BA/B.S. degree required.Essential Requirements:

Experience in professional services firm.
Experience in scheduling people in a professional services environment strongly
preferred.
Will consider candidates with Big 4 client service background at a Manager
level.
