This position is for a Siebel SME for all Siebel Applications in the Customer Support Sales & Marketing domain, and the scope includes:Provide subject matter expertise to business sponsors, and technical teams on aligning business processes with Siebel business capabilities using industry leading best practices. Over time, become the technical expert for Sales & Marketing's Siebel applications, including DHL unique features and Siebel customizations.
Provide Architectural advice for implementing new features/modules in Siebel and Siebel Analytics;Review architectural implications and designs, develop prototypes, and assist the dev. team in finalizing technical design to meet complex business requirements;Provide estimates and interface with Development and Infrastructure teams to provide quotes for new projects and hardware acquisitions;
Provide technical guidance and direction installation of patches/conduct upgrades for Siebel and Siebel Analytics releases & related third-party software;Assist in analysis/provide recommendations on solution support configuration issues;Assist in troubleshooting production issues/performance problems and develop workarounds to meet performance objectives;Serve as a Liaison with the Database Management Group and the Infrastructure groups incl. Wintel, UNIX, Network Operations and SAN teams
Provide technical support for other Sales/Marketing tools/applications using visual Basic, .NET, and SQL Server technologies.Skills & Qualifications:
Seasoned professional able to translate business requirements into technical designs. Solid communication skills to bridge the gap between business and technical teams. Serves as consultant to management on major matters pertaining to policies, plans, and objectives. Proactive problem solver that understands they can have a direct and important effect on business programs and results. State-of-the-art knowledge of technologies, processes, and practices. BS/BA in related discipline and 8-11 years experience in related field or MS/MA and generally 5-7 years experience in related field or equivaent. Siebel 7.7 Certified Consultant. Siebel 7.7 Certified Master Business Analyst and Analytics consultant. 2-3 years of experience working as administrator and architect for Siebel OLTP and Analytics products. Experience with ETL processes, Informatica, SOAP, XML.
