EDI Developer / Analyst

Key Tasks:
Responsible for maintaining and further enhancing client's EDI capabilities enterprise-wide.The position will include, but is not limited to:
•EDI system and process analysis, design, coding, modification and implementation•EDI to Baan / SSA EDI integration
•Implementation of EDI processes to support business unit EDI initiatives with internal and external customers
•New trading partner analysis, setup and support
•Project design, planning, management, and reporting
•On-call support
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
Candidate must have extensive experience working with Sterling Commerce Gentran:Server version 5.3 for Unix, EC Workbench, Advanced Data Distribution (mailbox system), Gentran scripts. A good working knowledge of HP-UX Unix programming and scripting is also required. The successful candidate will have experience mapping standard manufacturing industry EDI X12 transactions, such as 850, 855, 856, 860, 864, 865, 824, 830, 997, etc.Sterling Commerce WebSuite experience is preferred, as is experience on Baan IV, Baan ERP, or SSA ERPLN. Knowledge of and experience with Baan / SSA EDI is highly desirable. Candidate must have commensurate skills with MSOffice applications and a working knowledge of MS ProjectThe candidate needs to be self-motivated, organized, and highly productive, with the ability to work well on a diverse and highly qualified team in a fast-paced work environment.
