Dual Recovery Counselor

Full-time Case Aide needed for fast paced homeless outreach and co-occurring disorder treatment program in San Diego providing case management and outpatient rehabilitation services to homeless individuals. Respnsobilities providing information and referral to community services, Additionally, ongoing support is offered to clients regarding budgeting, shopping, hygiene, and health needs. The Case Aide also advocates on behalf of clients for placement, financial aid, and property protection.

REQUIREMENTS


The ideal candidate will have related professional or volunteer experience similar to the scope of services provided. College coursework or AOD certification in progress helpful. Candidates must have a valid CA Driver's License and insurance. Must be able to transport clients in personal or company vehicle which requires a minimum age of 25. This is an entry level position ideal for interns or students new to the social service workfield.
