WPS Energy Services, Inc. is currently recruiting for a new Director of Consulting to be located at one of our various office locations. Qualified candidates for this position will have demonstrated the ability to provide consulting, information management, energy sourcing and risk management services. Such products and/or services may include the following products: Strategic Sourcing, Rate Analysis and Direct Negotiation, Energy Information Management and Risk Management and Customized Consulting. Strategic Sourcing entails making physical natural gas and electricity commodity purchase recommendations on behalf of commercial and industrial end users. Rate analysis and direct negotiations includes conducting rate analysis to ensure optimization of utility rate menus and, or, engaging in direct negotiations with utilities/municipalities to improve end users' transportation and distribution costs. Energy Information Management includes the gathering and archiving of customer energy information, providing energy industry information, auditing bills, recovering overpayments, providing energy reports, and bill payment. These products and services are available to commercial and industrial customers particularly of value to customers with multiple facilities. Risk Management and Customized Consulting includes developing energy, executing and reporting against custom hedging strategies and optimizing the use of customer owned energy assets. These products and services are available to, primarily, large commercial and industrial customers. Consulting services may also include real time metering and project management services. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Marketing or a related discipline of the equivalent education/experience. The successful candidate will have extensive experience working with complex business, market, and customer issues. In addition, experience with process and project management is necessary. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are a must.
