Clinical Software Consultant and Educator

The Consultant and Educator is responsible for consultative and educational services provided to the healthcare users of the software system Quality Management System (QMSTM) and other clients of QM Data Solutions, a division of McNeary, Inc. The client base consists of hospitals, public and private, as well as clinics.
REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate will have at least 2 years Hospital Clinical experience and at least 2 years Healthcare Risk Management and/or Quality Improvement Experience. Knowledge of the JCAHO’s ORYX® Initiative including Core Measures and experience with computers (knows MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) a must

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the areas of QMSTM including: developing of education offerings and documentation. Documentation includes but is not limited to: user manuals, workshop materials, newsletters, and other client correspondence.

•Manage the implementation of QM Data Solution’s vendor requirements for the submission of data to the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) for the ORYX initiative and submission of data to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

•Coordinate the release/mailing of any QMSTM enhancements/updates to users including the documentation required for installing, updating, and using the new release.

•Coordinate the preparation and distribution/mailing of aggregate and ORYX quarterly reports to participants.

•Prepare and provide clinical consultative services including report interpretation and initial technical support for PC-based software to clients of QM Data Solutions.

•Assist with the design, development, and updating of marketing materials for QMSTM and other company products, including information for the company website.

•Participate in the marketing of QMSTM through one-on one contact, individual and mass mailings, conference exhibiting, onsite and online demonstrations of the system, and other methods as needed.

•Participate in the areas of the software development including: programming of enhancements and updates to the QMSTM software, providing technical support to the QMSTM users as needed, and the development of new products.

•Prepare management reports for QM Data Solutions management as needed.

•Other duties as assigned by management, such as but not limited to: attending meetings; contributing articles to QM Data Solutions publications; and maintaining confidentiality of all information and data.
