Ernst & Young is seeking several talented recruiting professionals in the US for an exciting global recruiting initiative. The Ernst & Young practice in China is experiencing unprecedented growth and needs qualified and talented accounting professionals to keep up with the increasing demands of our clients. Our primary hiring goal is to identify qualified professionals throughout the world for career opportunities in the Far East. In the United States we seek two talented recruiters, one in New York and one in San Francisco, with significant recruiting experience to partner with our campus recruiting team in the US to identify and develop Mandarin-speaking candidates interested in working in China and the Far East upon receiving their undergraduate degree from a US university. If you have a track record of developing and managing campus recruiting efforts for a large or mid-sized organization and are interested in utilizing your creative energies, this promises to be an exciting global career growth opportunity. Responsibilities Suitable candidates will concentrate their recruitment efforts on the US market with the primary focus at the campus level. The recruiter will identify and hire Mandarin-speaking accounting professionals for our work locations in China. In this effort, the recruiter will be required to: Manage the candidate recruiting pipeline/process at a number of strategic colleges/universities within the US Assist in developing creative on-campus recruiting strategies to generate awareness and interest in the EY China Recruiting Initiative Develop recruiting strategies in accordance with national guidelines and laws Actively recruit internal client serving volunteers to represent E&Y on campus, both from the US and China; manage and train these teams and provide subject matter expertise on recruiting issues; obtain a high level of client service participation for campus recruiting activities Maintain close contact with all candidates and help manage their expectations around timing/process/transition Propose and negotiate offers effectively Facilitate the new hire process, working closely with members of our various offices in China to ensure all hires from the US are effectively onboarded into our China practice Work closely with US/China partners, HR leaders, and recruiters to communicate activities, best practices, events and recruitment efforts Search the market and creatively generate candidate leads In addition to campus efforts, the recruiter will be required to conduct searches for experienced-hire candidates in their geographic zone, including manager, senior manager and partner level candidates.Ernst & Young LLP, an equal opportunity employer, values the diversity of our work force and the knowledge of our people.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 5 years recruiting experience, with an emphasis on campus recruiting, preferably with an accounting or professional services organization Experience managing a campus recruiting program, including strategy, on-campus campaign activities, faculty relations and managing a corporate team of interviewers, presenters, etc. for on-campus events Ability to work in a structured environment and to liaise closely with international colleagues Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both with candidates and internal management Fluency in spoken Mandarin and solid verbal and written English skills Flexibility to travel and work long hours consistent with on-campus recruiting programs and candidate availability
