This role, free from direct patient interactions, would collaborate with clinicians to facilitate the right treatment for our members. Key responsibilities include:


Coordinating the care and services of our inpatient members


Evaluating level of care for appropriateness


Identifying appropriate referrals for peer-to-peer intervention


Providing proactive discharge planning


Prioritizing cases utilizing standard operating procedures


Attending educational and staff meetings


Reviewing e-mail for communication purposes


Collaborating with case managers in facilities


Verifying benefits to our contracted home health agencies


Evaluating risk management

Job Requirements:

Only licensed Arizona RNs will be considered for this role, and clinical experience is essential. Managed care and case management experience is preferred, and candidates must have solid typing skills and computer navigation abilities. BSN's would be best equipped for this role.
