Develops and implements the multidisciplinary treatment plan. Provides individual, goal directed care. Conducts groups and provides lectures as scheduled. Meets individually with patient/resident if necessary, (emphasizing the group process). Provides an individualized discharge plan for residents. Demonstrates ability to perform competencies as outlined in the Competency Assessment Tool for Behavioral Health. REQUIREMENTS
Preferred Qualifications: Certification/License meeting the State of California requirements for alcohol and drug counselor. These may include any of the following: American Academy of Health Care Providers, Association of Christian Alcohol & Drug Counselors, Breining Institute, CAADE, CAADAC, CAARR, CADDTP, CCBCDC, FACT, Indian Alcoholism Commission of California Inc. or MFT, LCSW or PHD with chemical dependency classes.
Two or more years working in the Chemical Dependency field.
