Business Analyst

AQS, Inc is currently seeking a Business Analyst

We are looking for your expertise to become part of a team that monitors, interprets and analyzes system compliance and regulatory updates occurring within Property and Casualty Insurance industry.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Consults with clients to identify and document business needs and objectives, operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, data scope, usage, formatting, and security requirements.
Provides assistance in identifying, evaluating and correcting production critical issues.
Writes and maintains business and functional specifications for client software applications.
Assists with the development of quotes where applicable.
Consults and coordinates with internal developers and support staff to design and develop client software applications.
Assists with test plan development to assure that business and functional specifications are met during quality assurance phases.
Tracks and documents revisions to functional and business specifications.
Assists with quality assurance by providing feedback on feature reliability, usability, and accuracy.
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum one-year experience in a related position supporting software products and/or
one year experience working with PC software, Windows and other Microsoft products, and Internet required.
Property and casualty insurance experience preferred, but not required.Special Skills:Excellent written, oral and telephone communication skills
