Behavioral Health Counselor
NORTH COUNTRY
North Country Community Health Center (NCCHC), a growing, fast-paced, non-profit organization, is currently hiring for the following positions: Behavioral Health Counselor (Flagstaff) Responsibilities: Assist primary health care providers in recognizing & treating medically related behavioral health & psychosocial problems by performing "on-demand" or "real time" consultations & evaluations during clinic hours. Assess the clinical status of patients referred by primary care providers through brief consultative, behaviorally focuses contacts & make recommendations regarding treatment & need for community resources. Requirements: Current AZ license as Clinical Social Worker, Prof'l Counselor, or Clinical Psychologist. Bilingual/fluent in Spanish. Two years of behavioral health exp. Exp in a medical setting & with undeserved or diverse populations prefd Excellent working knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence-based treatments for medical & mental health conditions.
