Associate Patent Counsel - MEMS Technologies

Job Area: Engineering - Hardware

Role: Experienced ASIC/FPGA Engineer for design, prototyping and integration of complex digital wireless modem ASICs. Responsibilities include working closely with system Engineers and other design Engineers on the interface and performance specifications for hardware blocks, implementation of these blocks, FPGA prototyping, design, verification, and lab integration/test.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills/Experience: Qualified candidates must possess solid digital design skills including high speed and synchronous design, timing and electrical analysis, experience with VHDL or Verilog for simulation and synthesis, current experience in FPGA implementation and lab integration/debug. Must have excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, and proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
3+ years of hands-on experience designing digital circuits in ASIC/FPGA is required.

Additional Skills: Design experience in ASIC development within a UNIX environment, VHDL for simulation and synthesis, and shell programming is preferred. Experience in designing wireless modem ASICs is highly preferred.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
