Advisor - Design and Delivery, HR Programs
Functional Area: Human ResourcesPosition Description: Acts as an advisor to internal customers in creating, administrating and facilitating a wide range of HR Programs or training, such as Diversity and Sexual Harassment, Interviewing Techniques, Performance and Talent Management, Coaching, Rewarding and Recognizing Employees, New Employee Orientation, and general development Partner with Manager, HR Programs and HR Managers to assess individual and organizational needs, create new HR Programs and/or training in support of these needs and US Airways business objectives. Leverage all available resources in creating HR Programs or training to maximize efficiencies; including working with other internal learning groups, Star Alliance Partners and external vendor management Facilitate development programs (existing and newly created) to internal employees (all levels) to build participants’ knowledge and skill; present information using a variety of instructional techniques including role-playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, and lectures Continue professional development by staying abreast of current trends within the Human Resources and Development environment Support HR management team and completes ad-hoc projects, as assigned, which will include administrative or oversight duties for HR Programs.

Education: Bachelors DegreeExperience: Not IndicatedPosition Requirements: Strong facilitation skills and experience developing training and/or HR programs
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/training (PHR, SPHR or GPHR preferred)
Experience working within a professional team focused on delivery of business results
Demonstrated strong organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including outstanding facilitation skills
Ability to interact effectively with all organizational levels, and quickly develop credibility
Ability to develop strategic developmental/training solutions for internal clients with little to no supervision
Knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design models, blended-learning solutions, needs assessment, leadership development, designing training materials, delivering presentations, and performance improvement processes
Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Access, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) with an understanding of Lotus Notes Databases and Front Page
