Superintendent Commercial High Rise Construction
SUPERINTENDENT/DIRECTOR OF FIELD OPERATIONS - CONSTRUCTION
Established and growing general contracting firm (currently at $125MM/yr) specializing in commercial projects is seeking a General Superintendent/Director of Field Operations to join their team.
Duties to include:
1. supervision of all superintendents and field operations from design stage to closeout.
2. Experience with Budgeting, Estimating, Bid Procurement, Contract Negotiations,Buy-outs, Scheduling, Submittals, As-Builds and Close out documents beneficial.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
Undergraduate degree in construction related discipline preferred but longevity in the construction industry can substitute for college degree.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of six years experience in the construction trade with experience building commercial projects a must. Candidate must have a stable work record.
SKILLS:
1. Successful candidate must have strong computer skills plus experience and
2. knowledge of commercial construction
3. Candidates must be able to communicate ideas and give specific direction to rest of team
4. Must have ability to troubleshoot problems on a jobsite with ability to spot potential deficiencies or problems before they become major issues.
