Structural Engineer

Senior Structural Engineer (Contract Assignment 3-16 months)

1.Perform structural design of steel and reinforced concrete power plant structure.
2.Design foundations for structures and equipment.
3.Prepare and verify detailed engineering calculations.
4.Develop and coordinate production of engineering design drawings.
5.Review vendor data and fabrication details.
6.Prepare preliminary studies and cost estimates.
7.Develop engineering manpower projections.
8.Track engineering and material costs.
9.Track engineering progress.
10.Interface with design and construction team members, clients, suppliers, and contractors.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications

•Civil/ Structural engineering degree from an accredited university
•Professional Registration highly desired
•Proficient in structural software programs STAAD and GTSTUDL
•Proficient in use of the AISC, ACI, AWS, ASCE-7 and IBC Codes
•Experience in fossil power plant design and retrofit
•Experience in hot flue gas ductwork design highly desirable
•Self motivated, organized, results oriented, able to work proficiently both as part of a team and independently
