Sr. Cost Estimator

Purpose: Sr. Cost Estimator(Manager) out of the Los Angeles Office. Pay range $70-$115K (Depends on related experience).

Role: Prepare accurate estimates at schematic and design development level of design, meet deadlines, provide value engineering services, set up work breakdown structure, prepare task orders, deliver estimate in time allotted, direct and lead estimating team, review and estimate change
orders, reconcile with GCs or peer review estimator, some travel required.

Skills / Experience: 7-10 years construction industry experience, 5 years estimating experience, intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, prefer experience in On-Screen take off, good written and verbal skills, must be able to interact with clients; ability to prepare detailed, accurate estimates; must be able to lead estimating team, self starter and self directed, and able to multi- task and be flexible. OSPHD and/or medical project experience a plus.

Education Requirements: Bachelors degree in construction or related field.

Related project experience: commercial, public works, hotels, hospitals. We are not looking for a residential estimator, but someone that has strong commercial experience.
