Software Sales

About the Position:We are a Falls Church Business Technology Solutions firm, seeking an additional sales person to focus on selling our Timberline Construction Accounting software and related services to new prospects in the Virginia, Maryland and D.C. Area. You will be responsible for the initial contact with prospects and managing the sales cycles through closing. This position and you will be vital in growing our business in the construction and property management industries.The sales focus will be responding to leads from current referral sources, developing a pipeline of qualified prospects and managing the sales cycle in order to meet or exceed your sales quotas. You will be responsible for identifying the prospect’s business needs, determining how the products meet those needs, and utilizing the consulting resources to develop and present the solution to the prospect. Other responsibilities will include writing proposals, sales follow-up activities, and closing the sale.The Company is recognized as on of the top Sage Timberline resellers in the country. In business since 1983, the Company continues to achieve national recognition for its outstanding consulting services.

•Possess the sales and technical expertise required to successfully conduct all phases of the sales cycle
•Possess accounting knowledge a plus•Demonstrable knowledge or experience in business software industry a plus•Ability to travel•Ability to understand the prospects” business issues, and how to relate the solutions we provide to their needs
•Ability to grasp the software solutions we market, and to articulate them to the prospect, i.e. good written and verbal communication skills•Ability to work as a productive and effective member of our company
•Ability to learn and use our internal systems
