Senior Architect/Project Manager

PBS&J, a national employee owned Architecture/Engineering firm is seeking a Sr. Architect/Project Manager with 10 or more years of experience managing the production of construction documents for DOD, GSA and other federal architecture project types. Specifically, we are looking for candidates with a technical focus who are able to develop, analyze and resolve design conflicts within highly detailed projects. Other responsibilities will include:

•Reviewing on architectural designs and renderings
•Managing and mentoring entry and midlevel architects
•Managing project budgets and finances
•Writing reports and specifications such as code reviews.
•Checking plans, estimates and calculations for accuracy and quality.
•Reviewing the work of CADD operators, technicians and junior architects.
•Consulting with manufacturers, evaluating and selecting materials
•Inspecting architectural features of structures in the field.
REQUIREMENTS
B.S. in Architecture required. M. Arch or MBA preferred. Licensure in State of Virginia is required. Experience with AUTOCAD is required. BIM experience is a strong plus.
