Salary:$2,460.00 - $3,635.00/Month plus generous benefit package
(PERS 2.7% at 55 retirement program and paid retiree medical)

The Position:
Under general supervision, learn to perform and perform the full array of duties assigned to classes in the Street Maintenance Worker series, including skilled and semi-skilled work in the street, sidewalks, storm drains, graffiti removal, and traffic signs. Assist other Public Works divisions when assigned. Demonstrate a full understanding of all applicable policies, procedures, and work methods associated with assigned duties.

REQUIREMENTS
Education, Experience and Requirements:
Willingness to learn and perform duties associated with street maintenance. High school or GED, and one year of responsible experience in general construction maintenance work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

License/Certificate:
Possession of a valid Class C California driver’s license



Candidates will be required to pass a Background Investigation that may include Reference checks, Physical, Drug/Alcohol testing, Department of Justice fingerprinting, Credit report and DMV report
